One of my current little band projects right now is the JohnDC AllStars. We recently played at a street festival in Alexandria, and the guy running the board recorded the whole set. Check it out. Not bad for a board mix of a live gig.

On a related front, as part of my search for new musicians, I went to the monthly D.C. Blues Society jam Sunday for the first time in several years. Wow, has that changed. The weirdest part for me was that they let the same harp player go up four times, including once after I complained about it. Hard to believe I’ve missed this jam for so long. What a waste of time; I won’t be back.
