It’s late (for me, on a school night) and I can’t really write about this right now in any detail because I have to go to bed, but I’ve thought quite a bit about this statement and I believe it to be true: Decades from now, when I am an old man telling old-man stories, I will be able to tell people about the night I watched Hall of Famer Stephen Strasburg pitch the best first-game-in-the-bigs in the history of baseball.
