In the previous post, I mentioned that I made pulled pork over the weekend. At left is the finished product, more or less. It looked like a meteorite when it came out of the smoker (the exterior is covered with paprika and turbinado sugar, both of which turn dark when smoking), but you can see what interior looks like.

I keep a pair of neoprene gloves ($4 at Home Depot) just for this purpose. They stay in a kitchen cupboard and have the letter ‘F’ written on the cuffs, so I don’t confuse these with the identical-looking gloves I use to clean gutters!
