I’ve had a Twitter account for a while but rarely have used it; Twitter is definitely a generational thing and I’m on the wrong side of that generational line.

But there was a time when I said that about blogging and Facebook/MySpace/LinkedIn as well. Eventually, the generational line disappeared.

I gave up today. I set up Twitter on my cell phone and installed a utility to send out tweets every time I update this blog. I’m not sure how often I’ll actually tweet on my own — there is still something to be said for being unplugged at least some of the time — but I’ve now officially surrendered. Again.
